McKnight1 McKnight1 THE MCKNIGHT LECTURES In 1804, Washington McKnight was called to be the pastor of First Presbyterian Church. At the age of 23, McKnight led this congregation of only 13 with courage and vision. To honor this former pastor we named our Summer AEC The McKnight Lectures. The McKnight Lectures were presented on Sundays from June 15, 2008 through July 20, 2008 in St. Andrew’s Hall and all AEC classes were encouraged to attend. Guest speakers were invited to lead us through our theme this year, Ancient Roots of Modern Practices.
